The Pioneer Church at the Baker Cabin Historical Site will bring to your wedding the feeling and permanence of history. With the charm of a woodland Chapel, the Pioneer Church is available weekends and weekdays for weddings, rehearsals, renewals of vows, christenings, and memorials.

Comfortable seating for up to eighty guests in a white interior, richly appointed with wood and classic stained glass windows. An antique pump organ and piano compliment the excellent acoustics so that everyone feels like they are in the front row. (more..)

The Pioneer Church is a one room chapel, approximately 24 x 30 feet, with double doors opening to a dark rose runner. Electric lights may be dimmed to your preference. Pews have flower and bow hooks. Piano and Antique Organ are available for use. The church comfortably seats up to 90 people. (see photos page)

Fiddlers, period costumes and a horse and carriage can add authenticity for a reasonable fee. Inquire with the Historical Society.

Oregon's best wedding chapel is also known for its antique pump iron, grapevines from the 1800s and a lilac cutting brought by Maine settlers.

The newly built Archive Room and Library room provide for a convenient space for a bridal ready room. Furnished with a garment rack, hooks, shelves, vanity, chair and wall mirrors and laminate floors, it is a nice modern addition to the historic grounds. (see photos)
